Gervinho never looked the smartest player on the pitch and it appears that the ex Arsenal man isn’t that much better off it.
The Roma forward found himself in a fix after attempting to smuggle a woman into Italy when he was coming back from international duty with the Ivory Coast.
The Giallorossi had provided the forward with a private jet to return back to the capital, however when Gervinho landed in Rome he was accompanied by a blonde woman.
Apparently the forward bribed four airport staff in the Ivory Coast to ignore the fact that his companion wasn’t supposed to be on board.
The said staff have since been fired.
