The Police in Lagos State on Friday arraigned a 37-year-old Yinka Daudu, who claimed to be a spiritualist, for allegedly stealing N3.5 million belonging to one Monday Jatau.
The accused was charged before a Shomolu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on three charges of stealing
N3.5 million from Jatau, under the pretext that he will solve his spiritual problem.

Muhammed said the accused committed the offences on Aug. 24, at 11.15 a. m. at No. 6, Adenekan Street, Bariga in Lagos.
He said that the offences committed contravened Sections 409, 312 (a) (2) and 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011.
Daudu, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Osunsanmi adjourned the case till Feb. 4, 2015, for mention.
