Jesse Jagz who won the award for Lyricist on the roll for with his track, “God on the Mic” at the 2014 Headies Awards.
He took to Twitter to condemn Nigerian music focus on dance music despite happenings around the world.

Jesse Jagz also lost out in two other categories, Best Rap Album that was won by Olamide and Best dancehall song won by Patoranking at the Headies Awards 2014.
